Who is Alanis Marina
Alanis Marina is a Colombian-Brazilian artist whose music lives at the intersection of culture, rhythm, and emotion. Blending Latin R&B, reggaetón, Afrobeats, and Brazilian influences, she creates a sound that is sensual, vulnerable, and unapologetically feminine. Moving effortlessly between English, Spanish, and Portuguese, Alanis brings every side of her identity into her artistry, creating music that feels deeply personal while transcending languages, genres, and borders.
Artistry Now
Today, Alanis Marina is carving out a sound that reflects every part of who she is. Blending Latin R&B, reggaetón, Afrobeats, Brazilian funk, and contemporary R&B, her music moves effortlessly between vulnerability, sensuality, confidence, and feminine power. Singing in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, she draws from her Colombian and Brazilian roots while embracing the sounds that have shaped her along the way. Rather than being defined by one genre, Alanis continues to experiment and evolve, creating a musical world that feels unmistakably her own.
Where it Started
Music has been part of Alanis Marina’s story from the very beginning. Growing up in New Jersey surrounded by her Colombian and Brazilian roots, she discovered her love for performing at an early age, taking the stage at Radio City Music Hall at just seven years old and later developing her voice through church and school choirs. At sixteen, she began stepping into the studio, and by sixteen to seventeen, she was recording and releasing her own music, transforming her passion for performing into a journey of discovering her own sound and identity as an artist.
What Does the Future Hold
Looking ahead, Alanis Marina is focused on taking her music beyond borders and building a career that reflects the global influences behind her sound. With each release and performance, she continues to grow as an artist, storyteller, and performer while reaching new audiences and stepping onto bigger stages. Her vision extends far beyond a single genre or language—she hopes to create a lasting connection between cultures through music and establish a world of her own where her Colombian and Brazilian roots, femininity, and evolution can exist without limits.
